How to calculate acreage

Multiply length by width in feet to get square feet, then divide by 43,560. A lot 208.7 ft × 208.7 ft is almost exactly one acre. For land measured in metres, divide square metres by 4,046.86 to get acres, or by 10,000 to get hectares. Irregular parcels can be split into rectangles and triangles and added together.
