Build your takeoff
Select a component to see its dimensions. Add each separate pour once.
Dimensioned view · cutouts deducted by area
Added once after all measured pours are combined. Use the allowance agreed for your job.
Check a depth change
Uneven ground can change how much you need. Test a deeper slab before calling a supplier.
Changes rectangular and round slabs only. This is a quantity comparison, not a thickness recommendation.
Compare the delivered bill
Same takeoff. Each supplier’s own unit, billing rules and fees.
Enter current quotes in one currency. Tax, pumping, labor and waiting charges are excluded unless included in a fee you enter. No prices are assumed.
Ready-mix 1
Volume fields use this quote’s unit. Zero increment means exact volume. The minimum changes the bill, not the concrete needed.
Ready-mix 2
Volume fields use this quote’s unit. Zero increment means exact volume. The minimum changes the bill, not the concrete needed.
Or use premix bags
Check the actual bag label. Reference yields: QUIKRETE. Dry bag weight is handling weight, not the weight of placed concrete.
Make the supplier call easier
Keep the quantity, project details and open questions in one delivery brief.
Copy the mix requirement from your project specifications or confirm it with your supplier. MeasureDen does not choose a structural design or mix.
Before you confirm delivery

Slab thickness guide
Use 4 inches for patios, paths and shed bases, 5–6 inches for driveways, and thicker, reinforced slabs where heavy loads are expected. Place the slab on 4–6 inches of compacted gravel so it drains and does not settle unevenly. For a 12 × 12 ft patio at 4 inches you need about 1.8 cubic yards before waste.
